Herzchor - Heart Choir
Do you want to sing? Do you have breathing problems or a weak heart and would you like to meet weekly for breathing and singing training under expert guidance?
The Heart Choir was founded in April 2018 as part of a research project at the University Hospital Basel.
Research has shown that breathing and quality of life improved among heart choir participants.
The soprano Jenny Högström leads the choir and also trains with specific breathing exercises.
We normally meet weekly on Mondays from 6:45 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for rehearsal in our rehearsal room in the “Alterssiedlung der Münstergemeinde” at Kapellenstrasse 10 in Basel.
The aim is to launch a special project choir every year that will hold a benefit concert. You can join the choir at any time.
